This was my experience with them in a nutshell. I went into their shop looking for tires. In the time i was there, i watched a guy take an hour to put a license plate on a bike while they fumbled with allen wrenches trying to figure out if the aftermarket bracket was Metric or Standard. omg.. There was a HUGE discussion about it between two employees there. The bike owner was losing his patience. it took 2 people an hour to put a license plate on a used bike that someone purchased. an... hour...........
and the fact that i was there for an -hour- to watch this unfold when all i needed to know is if the tires i need were in stock is more important. Busy or not, i was completely ignored for an hour, so i finally walked across the store and CALLED THEM FROM MY CELL PHONE and got my answer and left. Long story short, they weren't in stock -
So i went to ZABORS, and decided to get a quote for a Tuneup while i was at it.
WOW!!!! Paul Zabor is RUDE. At least TJ's were NICE, albeit incompetent. Paul was Competent, but a real *******!
After all of that, I went home and did some research and found Xtremesupermoto on CL under ""cycle services""and gave them a call. Mitch picked up the tires for me and had them on my bike the same day. I also took my bike that weekend for a full tuneup, where he charged a lot less than Zabor's was planning to.
Anyway, If i ever need parts, or need to have something repaired i'm going to deal with xtremesupermoto, not TJ's. and ESPECIALLY not Zabors. that's my $0.02
I HIGHLY recommend xtreme.
