T J Maxx

I was in search of a purse and stopped into TJ Maxx when someone refered me to it. The store is okay. It has a "thrift store" feel to it. I definately don't feel like I am shopping for name brands when I come here, even though I am. I found a lot of nice purses, but nothing I fell in love with. There were a lot of name brands... Nine West, and many others I can't remember at the moment. None of them suited me, obvious leftovers from department stores. I did see a lot of luggage that I am planning on returning to buy. I browsed the clothing for a while but didn't find anything I liked or that was an extraordinary deal. I guess if you are in the market for $40 childrens jeans then when you find them for $20 it is a great deal. I on the other hand usually spend $10 or $14 for jeans at Target, so $20 is no great deal for me. I didn't have time to browse other areas of the store. more

I have on occasion stopped at this store over the years. Every time I go in I find that they really don't have a lot of things in the store. It is a large store and it seems sort of empty to me. They are also not very well organized and I think the only reason I bought anything from them is that I have a gift certificate. I find much more at Ross. more
