T Gregory Imports

I live in Orlando and always stop into T. Gregory Imports when I visit Jacksonville Beach because they have very unique items that you cannot find anyplace else. I have bought many unique items at this fabulous store and their stock of coral and shells is unbeatable. If you are looking for beautiful items to decorate your home, this is the first place to look! more

I just purchased an antique chinese cabinet from this store that is amazing. I had priced similar cabinets in Savannah and Asheville, but could never afford them. The price at T. Gregory Imports was less than half the price of others I've considered. I am SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY that I found this great store. Kadoos to them and their staff!! more

I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite stops when I shop at the beaches. I have found so many ""treasures"" for my clients at this great store. You must visit often as the inventory changes frequently and they have a limited number of most items. Make sure to get on their e-mail list for the arrivals of new containers. Since relocating to Florida from New Orleans 3 years ago, I was finding shopping to be very run of the mill untill I discovered T. Gregory Imports in Jacksonville Beach. From my first vist almost 2 years ago, I was hooked! They travel to many different countries and hand select each item which shows in their inventory. I have purchased 3 pieces of furniture, lamps, pottery, and numerous accessories for my home. I have had so many ""wow"" responses from people who visit my place too! Thomas and Todd are always friendly as well as helpful. To those who have written negative reviews on here, I can only assume they are the proverbial ""difficult customer"" that is ever unhappy. I am astounded at the one review that stated ""no return policy/rude"". They have always had a return/refund policy and never have I witnessed any rude behavior there. I had a really bad experience with this store... I had ordered some furniture and before I recieved it, my wife passed away unexpectedly... I explained this to a saleman who said the owner would call... He did and I explained that I just no longer wanted the bedroom furniture that my wife and I had picked out and I was downsizing with my son... He stated that it was not his problem my wife died and didn't even know if I was telling the truth... He hung up on me... I never went to get it and when I did, he said he already sold it to someone else and I could have a credit... WOW! I didn't know people could be that slimy! Cons: Owners and Salesman more

Buyers must pay close attention to the quality of the product and the store policies with regards to exchanges and returns. We made numerous purchases when decorating our home/patio and caution buyers with regards to the candle holders and the teak furniture. One of the candle holders (a resin type of material) caught on fire the first time we used it. Although they are decorative, it is not our recommendation to actually use them. The teak furniture requires a GREAT AMOUNT of maintenance. The sellers encouraged us to let it fade and not to bother oiling the furniture as it would be too difficult to maintain at the beach. We took their advice and wound up with splintered furniture. Additionally, the wood glue is dried and cracked and the wood is delaminating. Regardless of how much we spent, the owners have not been willing to work with us to rectify our furniture issues. Save yourself the hassle and come up with a new idea to decorate your patio!
