T G I Friday's

Good: I liked the menu; it was American fare at it's best with unique twists on classics and classics left untouched. The waitstaff was good, considering the crowds - they handled themselves well. Everything arrived hot and fresh and just as expected, and the prices were average (pretty good when you factor in the free $10 gift card). There was a big crowd but the wait was no more than 2 minutes, which was impressive.. Bad: Appetizers were expensive, but smaller than the menu suggested. Some of the portions were tiny too - best to stick with a burger, as the steaks are about the size of a deck of cards. The crowd was pretty big and loud, which was a bit frustrating when trying to make dinner conversation. The only BIG complaint I have is the "birthday singing". There's no way that 15 people decided to go to a freakin' Fridays for their birthday. The singing is obnoxious and it made my appetizer late. Other than that it was ok.. Improvements: No birthday singing, and a noise-control section.. Other: Overall a good experience - better than I expected. Odd thing was the $10 gift card; there was no explanation as to why we received it - I had to google it later. Either way it was a lot of fun!. more

TGI Fridays is packed on weekend evenings filled with families with young children, couples, and groups of friends. it's a fun place to eat at. they have delicious looking drinks, fried appetizers, chicken salads for entrees, jack daniels ANYTHING is so good (steak, shrimp, chicken!) - jack daniels sauce is soo addicting. it makes any meal taste so good. it's like sweet and tasty. no alcohol in it though, so don't worry. TGI Friday's desserts look really appetizing, though i've never had any because i'm always so full from the meal. it's tons of fun to eat here. more
