Was promised in the sales presentation that food costs would never increase. That was a lie. Town and Country refused to back up their promise.

Doug, As I mentioned to you on the phone, if one of our sales reps said that to you, I apologize. However as we discussed, no company can promise that the cost of their products will never increase. That is not possible. Im sure you realize that there are too many variables that affect the cost of food.
Having said that, you may recall that you received your first order in October of 2008 and a total of 4 orders between then and July of 2010 without a single price increase. Im sure youre aware that this was not the case had you bought from a retail store. I believe that the source of your irritation is the 6 increase on the Direct Food portion of your March order.
We wish no confusion for any consumers regardless of the circumstance. To that end, Town and Country Foods extended your original price to your March 2011 order. This will have effectively given you a price lock between October of 2008 and August of 2011.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer you an infinite protection on wholesale food cost from normal price increases. Although, like all of our customers, you are not required to make any future food orders if you do not desire, we hope that you will continue to be a loyal and satisfied Town and Country Foods customer
