Sold on a specific design, start date, finish date, price, etc. Every step of the way after the sale has been a process of them trying to alter the agreement. I was not budging on the agreed price because that would be BS.
Regarding the design, we gave them a little wiggle room but that has turned into something totally different than what we were sold on. We are ok with it but it feels weird to see something way different than what was agreed on.
The start date was a joke. Wednesday turned into Thursday. Thursday showed up and it turned into Friday and telling us that for our design we needed to pay $2000 more. We killed that 2k idea but lost another day in the process. Come Friday and they say they will work until 5pm. They left at 1pm. We thought they were going to lunch. Lunch lasted until Tuesday. They said they would work Saturday. No one showed up Saturday.
Originally we were told it would take 2 days. I don't mind if it would actually take longer but don't tell me 2 days when you mean 2 weeks. If they would have worked a full day on that first Friday that might have sped things up. Or maybe if they worked on Saturday like they said they would. Or if they came back after a 30 minute rain shower that might have helped. I know rain can stop these things but when you tell me it is pouring down rain and I can see what is happening outside it is very easy for me to catch you in a lie. Needless to say the job did not get completed on time. This is after it was pushed back three times already.
My favorite part about the entire experience was that the workers thought it best to leave their cigarette butts and chicken bones on the ground in my yard. This was great for my dog.
The patio will probably be great but we paid way more than the other bidders because we thought this company would be more professional and do a better job. It turns out they are horrible and I would never recommend them to anyone.
