Shown Initial Escrow Account Disclosure Statement in settlement packet where sufficient funds were to be transferred from existing escrow to new account. Happy at that time. Referred several people to Synergy Direct. November received Escrow Acct. Review from Countrywide showing account $850.07 in arrears! Payment will increase $77/month if not paid in full making new payment $40 more than before refinancing. Tried to contact Pete Crespo, my Synergy loan officer, never received return call. Informed by Countrywide that on 6/2 /08 they received payoff request from Daniel Morseberger at Synergy with no direction to hold funds for transfer to ecsrow. Contacted Jim Curran, settlement attorney for Synergy. Nothing he could do I had to take it up with Synergy.
