I had a tight schedule for purchasing and altering a nice suit for an interview. I took it to Sylvia's for same-day alterations, hoping to just get the length of my pants brought up. When I tried the pants on, she was able to spot another problem immediately and made ALL the changes that I wanted, all in one day! When I went back to try on the finished product, I was so excited! She helped me to feel that I could present my best appearance for a big day! I'm so thankful for the service you provide! more

Slyvia does wonderful work. She is very thorough in suggesting alterations and even better at executing them. I came to her with my wedding dress that fit too tight around my back and chest causing the dreaded armpit and back fat, even though I'm not fat. After playing with a couple of different ideas, Sylvia was able to suggest a solution that solved all my problems--and didn't involve some ridiculous starvation diet or liposuction, which most wedding blogs suggested was the only solution to this particular issue. If you want your wedding dress to be handled with love and care and someone who can give you creative solutions to all your alteration problems, Sylvia is your woman! P.S.
