Dr. Sylvia L. Owens is the Chief Chiropractor at Southmetro Chiropractic Center where she has served since September 2018. She is a native of Atlanta, Georgia where she graduated with honors from Frederick Douglass High School in 2009. She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree at South Carolina State University (SCSU) and graduated Cum Laude in 2013. While at SCSU, she was a member of the SCSU Honors College, Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Upon graduation, she continued her education at Life University in Marietta, GA.
