In Short
One of western Colorado's best-kept secrets, Sylvan Lake State Park is surrounded by the White River National Forest, offering a spectacular setting for small boat and offshore fishing, and a great spot for picnicking, hiking and outdoor photography amid Rocky Mountain scenery. Campsites and cabins are available for use. Showers and restrooms are provided, as is a dump station. The park has a boat ramp, picnic facilities and equestrian and hiking trails.
