It's a bit of a dark location in what appears to be an older building. Looks family run which I normally find to be a plus, however there was a man who was trying to be so helpful...

Swiss American Bicycle Ctr Inc is skilled and cheaper! 6/14/2009

Swiss American Bikes has the most competitive prices around, including REI comparisons. The staff are friendly and helpful. We bought a great bike there for less $$$ than same would have cost at REI. Decent price on gear as well. Staff is willing to work with experts and novices alike. Repairs are cheap and trustworthy. Definitely recommend. more

Good Place for Repairs 11/16/2008

I love Swiss American Bicycle shop. I always bring my bikes there when I need repairs. They can often fix flats while you wait and have responable prices and great staff. more

Other customers seemed to like, but we were put off by sales person 9/5/2005

It's a bit of a dark location in what appears to be an older building. Looks family run which I normally find to be a plus, however there was a man who was trying to be so helpful he was simply smothering us to the point of being creepy. We really felt uncomfortable and left to make a purchase elsewhere. There were other customers in the shop who appeared to be long time customers, so I believe this is probably a decent place and the prices seemed good with a fair selection of bikes. We just didn't want to spend our money here with our experience. more
