I have been going there for 4 years now. They have the best ice cream i have ever had. I think the owner went to Penn State University For food science and ice cream. When I first saw the logo I was a little wierded out but when I went inside I found out it is named after the owners daughter and her middle name is willow. So the logo is a picture of his daughter. I once asked the owner to make Tea Berry ice cream sure enough week later he did. You just don''t get that from some huge chain that sells crap. They have always had a great staff, fantastic food, tons of heart and originality that no one can beat. Bless Sweet Willows. Just Typing this is making me crave a chocolate peanut butter lovers milkshake. Love it more

What happened to this place 9/11/2007

September 07 - I used to like going there but not any more. The place was not very busy but the parking lot was full. A few kids dashed across the street nearly getting hit by traffic. What happened to all the Boar's head sandwiches? Make your own? I can do that in my dorm room with lunch meat and cheese from Walmart. What happened to the friendly kids? What happened to the co-owner? After speaking with the current owner, all he could say was "I.....I.... I". He must really like himself. The baby's head on the cone...... Do not get me started! more

From everything my cousin and grandmother (they both go pretty frequently) have told me, this place is very good, but I'm still scared of their sign, which displays an ice cream cone with a baby head on it! I'm sorry, but that is just plain freaky. more

Great oldschool look and feel 7/15/2005

Sweet Willows creamery is one of my favorite ice cream places in York. The staff are all kind and the ice cream is amazing. The building looks very cute and antique and is very nice and clean. You can sit indoors or outdoors, i prefer to sit indoors because it is very nice. They also sell deli items if you are hungry for real food. more

Worth the calories! 7/14/2005

Homemade ice cream that is well worth the calories! There is a great selection of flavors and they change them periodically. For those who want regular food first, they serve sandwiches too. You can eat indoors or out but there are only benches outside. The parking lot is small so there may be some difficulties on summer weekends. You can park across the street but who wants to cross Prospect. They sell quart containers so that you can take some home for another day! more
