...when I heard about this little shopping haven from some friends, but I was treated SO rudely ALL throughout my visit to the store (at first the clerk refused to get off the phone, or even acknowledge me in any way...but when I attempted to try something on, ALONE for she wouldn't help me, I was reprimanded like a criminal), I'm going to just leave this as a "Don't Even Bother." For what it's worth, I know that rudeness by a shopkeeper or salesperson kinda goes with the turf...like a restaurant server who acts superior for simply knowing which wine to pair with your fish, or a bank clerk who acts like it's THEIR money you're taking out of your account. But I was really embarrassed by Sweet Threads' girl, who if she'd gotten her a*s off the phone to help me, I wouldn't have ventured into the changing room alone, and I promise you this is one of my worst-ever shopping experiences in NEO. EVER. more

I'll keep it short and simple: the clothing is always trendy and outdated, and the staff is indifferent when it comes to assisting you (if there's even something worth asking about). that being said they do host trunk shows for populist designers like Betsey Johnson, which is cool, especially for Cleveland, and the prices aren't as bad as people complain about here. more

I really don't enjoy shopping here. I do not enjoy the sales staff and do not feel welcome in the store. They do not return easily and do not exhibit kindness or loyalty to their customers. more

I am mystified by the reviews on your web site - my family travels several hours seasonally to shop here - the women in our family are completely outfitted for our life cycle events as well as my sportswear for everyday. I am constantly stopped and complemented on my outfits and asked where I shop! I find the style selection to be cutting edge as well as age appropriate for a woman over 30 who desires to be in style but not look like the twenty-somethings. I have travelled to many major cities and have not come across a boutique that meets our needs like Sweet Threads!! more

I don't know where some of these negative reviewers shopped...it wasn't Sweet Threads. I have always found the most current styles in this precious boutique. Sweet Threads is a fashion oasis in Northeastern Ohio. The owner and her staff are most helpful and have exquisite taste. I can't help but think there's no pleasing some people. I can't imagine what Clotheshorse is thinking when she said that the owner was rude, I can't imagine a nicer woman and store atmosphere. While the clothes are expensive, that sort of quality is what I came for. I have returned things there, and as long as it isn't past the time on the return policy, or formalwear, there's no problem. While I have never tried returning any garments to Sweet Threads, I must say that I am very fond of the place. It is a special little boutique with beautiful dresses that is locally owned, which is important. The service is excellent. You can try on dresses in the dressing room while a saleswoman brings you more choices in your size and is available to help you zip up the back or give you her opinion on how it looks. These are perks that really do not exist in large department stores. Finally, Sweet Threads has a party registry to ensure that no one else at the event you are attending will be wearing your dress. I was so excited to see this new store open up in Eton, so I decided to go check it out and I loved a skirt and shirt and decided to purchase it. The next day I brought it back because it wasnt exactly what I was looking for and the owner was there and BERATED me on WHY I was bringing the merchandise back...HELLO I just bought it the day before. I have yet to step foot in there again nor will I. The owner was rude and obnoxious!!!!!!!!!!! Stay away!!! more
