I stumbled across this place earlier this year for a Brazilian bikini wax and a manicure. The place was larger than other nail shops on bell, clean, well lit and nicely decorated. I am very particular when it comes to my beauty: nails, hair, wax, facial ..etc. If I am not happy with a service I will ask do have it redone till I'm satisfied. For this particular place, I tried several different techs before settling in with Gloria (owner) and Sue who is one of their top beautician / aesthetician.
I come here weekly for my reg mani / pedi and at least twice a month for facials.and Brazilians.
They have a full service spa downstairs for facials and massages. I love their facials. They customize the treatments to suit your specific skin type and issues. I have combination to oily skin with blackhead on my T zone and whiteheads/cholesterol deposits around my eyes. I was recommended a deep cleanse microdermabrasion with collagen eye treatment. Ladies, let me tell you this, my skin never felt and looked better. My complexion was luminous, with a smooth even feel. The dark under eye circle and fine lines visibly faded. They primarily use Dermologica brand which are available for purchase as well. I bought the collagen eye cream with hydrating serum. It works wonders for my dark circles/wrinkles and my face feels supple and moist without feeling greasy or oily. My husband asked if I had a makeup application done because my face looked so even toned and glowing. I was very happy with the way my skin felt and looked.
Their staff are very experienced and educated and are mid to master level technicians. They do not hire inexperienced workers or fresh beauty school grads. They also offer a variety of other services aside from their array of different manis/pedis; gel, shelac, spa...etc. They have permanent makeup for lip, eye and brow, massages, body treatments, color contacts and Eyelash extensions.
They offer a frequent membership reward card program where they give you complimentary services like nails, spa pedicures and even facials after you accumulate to a certain purchase point. They Do no accept gratuities in anything other than cash and prefer it over credit card payments in general. Its also best to call and make an appointment for they are generally buys but welcome walk ins as well and are friendly.
This is one of the best kept beauty secret in Bayside and the best nail/spa place on Bell bar none.
