WONDERFUL PLACE!!! 8/12/2008

After looking for a cake shop in the northwest suburbs of Illinois, I found this place. I read the reviews listed here and I decided to take a drive. Well, every word spoken is correct. This place is wonderful! Small in size but it is packed with a ton of great up to date items. Even items that I couldn't find any place else or discontinued items. I went there and spent $600, yes it was awesome. Very knowledgable, friendly employees. I will be going back soon to pick up additional items. more

to all who don't know about this place, it is the best kept secrete in the state line area, the people who work there are friendly yet knowledgeable about the things you need and if you need something special they are the ones to do it!!!!!!!!! I have been going there for over 20 years and they remember every time you go if I don't spend $50 or more and be happy I spend more than that its a great place, a little small but full of nearly every thing you need for decorating for cakes and more.......go there you will not be disappointed I give high odds that you will find everything you need. Looks can be deceiving 8/2/2006

From fist glance, this place can see to be little more than a hole in the wall. I went here to look for items for my wedding, though, and was pleasntly surprised by their selection. Although they didn't have exactly what I was looking for at that time, they were very friendly and courteous. I took my friend there to get supplies for my nephew's first birthday party, and we got everything we needed right there. The prices are reasonable as well. more
