This is my family's new favorite restaurant. The thin-crust pizza is delicious... It has the perfect blend of dough, cheese and toppings and is never greasy. They make a big deal about their homemade sausage, and it's with good reason. The sausage is layered over the entire pizza and is probably the best I've ever had. Besides the food, the dining room is immaculate and modern, and my kids love watching the cooks making pizzas through the windows. Well, I like the windows too! There's also a really nice outdoor patio that is secluded and has a beautiful elevated view of hidden valley. Pros: Fantastic food, service and ambience Cons: very busy sometimes more

TRY IT UTAH!!! 6/21/2006

Those of us Chicagoans transplanted to beautiful Utah have been starved for REAL pizza. I'm sorry, but Utah is not the place to get it. THANK YOU, Pecora's, for bringing your wonderful recipe all the way from Illinois and giving us such a long-awaited treat. I brought my family to your restaurant last week, and we were so happy and satisfied when we left. UTAH, if you have not tried Sweet Home Chicago, please do! Pros: Delicious pizza; great price more

I am originally from the Springfield IL area, and move to the Chicago area where I lived for about 4 years. I have tried just about every pizza place in the Chicago land area as well as those in the central part of the state. One of my favorites in the Bloomington area is Tobins. I moved to Utah 6 years ago and have been very frustrated with the lack of quality pizza in this state. I often thought of opening my own, now I have found Sweet Home Chicago, don't have to. I can tell you without a doubt that this is the best pizza in Utah! Please give it a try. more

Best Pizza in Utah 5/1/2006

Absolutely the best pizza in Utah and as good as anything in Chicago (I'm a former resident), New York, or Rome (I'm Italian!). Homemade ingredients (cheese, sausage, sauces) give it a distinctive, fresh taste and the wood-fired oven melts them all together into a delicious treat. The deep dish is on par with anything you could find in Chicago but I would recommend the thin crust with their homemade sausage and cheese. Devine!! Salads and sandwiches are above average but stick with the pizza. Pros: Great Pizza, Good sandwiches Cons: Busy on Weekends, only 8-10 tables more

One of the best pizza's I've had 3/31/2006

It's hard to say which is better, the Pie, or sweet home Chicago, I guess they're just different, but if you want an awesome pizza get a stuffed 14"" Pie from Sweet home Chicgo, they are the best! go on a tuesday and it's buy one get one free!! more

The best pizza to come to Utah yet. The pizza is AWESOME and you can tell they make the ingredients there. They have a pretty nice dining room and also offer delivery and carryout. I think they just got a beer license too... i was one of their first customers in July 2004 and have ordered many times since more

The BEST Pizza I have EVER had in Utah!! 7/24/2005

As an RM who served in Chicago and has actually had Chicago-style pizza IN CHICAGO...This stuff is THE BOMB!!! I can never in good conscience eat any other company's pizza (only in an emergency--or if somebody else is buying cuz I won't pay for it!!!) One bite and I was hooked! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep these people in business!! We all DESERVE to have this kind of pizza around for a LONG LONG TIME!!! Pros: STUFFED pizza, Excellent Service!, EVERYTHING!!! Cons: Had to drive 16 miles more

Take it from someone who is from Chicago; this is the real stuff!! Everything about the pizza is great. It's perfect if you're looking for a ""real"" pizza; the crust, the cheese, the sauce, the toppings; this place has everything that you're looking for in a pizza. more
