Absolutely The Best Turtles and Chocolates 10/15/2008

I never knew that turtles and chocolates could taste sooo good. They were incredible. I shared them at the office and everyone was addicted. It is the best I ever tasted. Also, it is very friendly. I highly recommend Sweet Essentials. more

best candy in detroit area 12/17/2007

thank god for sweet essentials. the ONLY candy to buy. the other reviewer can only be a moron. Sidney Boggs was the only place in detroit you could get any good candy and when they went out of business. no more candy. Sweet essentials were former employees and were able to buy the sidney boggs molds. friendly knowledgeable employees with convenient parking. a must worth the drive more

Don't bother stopping 9/14/2005

I was really dissappointed with this new store. There had been signs announcing it's arrival for 8 months before it finally opened. I thought the handmade choclates could have been much better. It is extremely slow in there, so the candy gets stale fast. The variety is poor and I thought the caramels were Blechhhh! I would not fight parking and traffic to go back there again. PROS: none CONS: poor quality, bad location more
