I brought in 3 wool blazers-one vintage plaid wool coat with leather trim, one camel hair blazer and one Ralph Lauren blazer.\r
RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ECER USING THIS CLEANERS. READ BELOW...\r
When I picked them up and brought them home, much to my surprise. The plaid coat had not only shrunk!!! The leather green trim around the entire coat, pockets and sleeves were tight and cracked all around. I returned the coat the following day. The young ladies were very sweet. They said they would place it in the owners office.\r
I called back 2 days later after hearing nothing from the cleaners. I spoke with the woman owner. Her words were, and I quote, ""how are we suppose to know what your coat is made out of and how to clean it if there isn't a tag on it"". SHOCKED, I told her , even I know what it's made out of without a cleaning tag on it and I brought it to the cleaners because I wanted an expert cleaning. I asked her if she would compensate me in anyway. She than became irrate and told me she would not compensate me for the coat, because it was a gift and I did not have the original price tag for it. She than told me that as I'm not a regular customer there she didn't feel obligated. I guess living in that area for 51 years doesnt count either? Stupid me. I AM TOTALLY SERIOUS PEOPLE! I was told, and not very politely, she would only reimburse me for the cleaning-which had ruined my coat! So, now I have a ruined vintage coat that's too small. I got my $11.32 back though.\r
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLEANER'S TO ANYONE!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE NOT A REGULAR CUSTOMER!. WHAT THE F?
