I stayed at the Sweden House when I was in Rockford for a wedding several years ago. The entire place really does have a wooden, mountain lodge feel to it. The rooms were not to small and very comfortable. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in Rockford over the years. Usually, because I am only there a night at the most, I go for whatever is cheapest. If you need to spend more time in Rockford, you couldn't do much better than Sweden House Lodge. Comfortable beds, reasonable prices, nice rooms and a great-looking place. Good stuff. more

Excellent service 12/17/2010

My husband and I visit family in Rockford and typically stayed at the Sweden House Lodge, however, this time around our experience was even more unique as the hotel has been completely renovated and the current management has restored its physical condition. Great place with excellent service. Will definitely go back again. more

Very impressed 12/15/2010

Cleaning is a past field in my life. The room was CLEAN and presentable, also roomy. Front desk was Patient! Though or reservation was made on priceline, and was never received. Ended up paying less not more. more
