This salon came highly recommended by my good friend who has been going here for 20 years. I trusted her because she knows quality. I have always sought out the salons who run "specials" which has not served me well and has left my hair damaged and weak. Pat, the owner, is like a personal trainer for your hair. She will work with you to get your hair in the best possible shape and she gives you detailed instructions on how to care for your hair when you leave. After just having a baby and loosing alot of hair around my face Pat has been coaching me on how I can look MY best. After 2 months of working with her my hair has made a miraculous recovery and keeps getting better. She is a color expert and her Aveda formulas are of the highest quality. I didn't realize what a difference that makes. My highlights compliment my skin tone and make my hair look thicker. I appreciate how thoroughly she communicates...always making sure we are on the same page. My brother went to school in this area. He would always come here to get his hair cut. And I think he always looked good. So i decide d to give it a go and it was a success! I never want to get too much hair taken off so i am cautious. They got rid of my split ends leaving me with plenty of my original length. I would gladly let them play with my hair again. more

I came to Swathmore Hair Studio with no expectations. I had never heard of it and was in the area and realized that I had some free time to get a hair cut. I walked in thinking that I would have a long wait before I could be seen, however they had a cancellation and could take me right away. My stylist was great! The hair stylist I saw at Swarthmore Hair Studio was great. She listened to all my ideas without seeming bored or rushed, and then responded with an idea that was exactly what I was looking for.
