This is cute little restaurant with exposed brick, white tablecloth, simple pleasant decor (no cheap trying-to-look-indian randomly placed copperware or stiched elephants; some elephants and pottery, but in very good taste & not cliched), and good lighting just feels cosy & relaxing. The service is friendly and the food good. I came to the restaurant with a rude and eccentric friend who complained about not having solid vegetables in the soup that was clearly labelled as pureed. The next time we came back, they were still friendly AND added whole vegetables to his pureed soup! Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of menu items, but all done quite well. Unpretentious and comfortable. Good for a fourth date, where you're not looking to impress, but want a pleasant place to chat and eat.
