The owner comes across as very rude and disrespectful. Not a pleasant visit there at all. I would have actually looked more and made a purchase but was very taken back by her customer service. more

This store is such fun! They always have unusual stuff and know all about the artists they carry. This is the place to go for gifts you can't find anywhere else. They also have a huge amount of greeting cards. If you don't see a card for what you want, ask the owner to go to her stash in back. I even found a funny card for a friend going through a divorce. Don't miss this store or make a special trip to Northfield! more

I love this store! Every time I go in there, I see some new and fascinating thing to enhance my home or appearance. It's a great place to get gifts too.The best is the cards; beautiful cards, touching cards and funny, witty cards. They have cards in there for every occasion -even the loss of a pet. The staff is very attentive and very helpful and it never fails to cheer me up to walk in the door and be thoroughly entertained. The store is always spotless and even smells good. I stop in frequently just to see what new interesting thing has come in since my last shopping foray. Highly recommended. more

I have been in this lovely store numerous times and can't say enough as to how wonderful the staff is. This store is the go to location if you are looking for the unique wonderful gift. The mother daughter duo made it so much fun to be in their store. If you are ever in Northfield MN don't miss this destination. more

If the owner and staff had been more friendly, I would have enjoyed shopping here (and bought) more. The owner spent the entire time I was there hovering over my family. Apparently she's had problems with things being accidentally broken by children lately. Therefore, she felt the need to watch every little thing we did (as there were children in our group). She ended up scaring my younger cousin as she was touching (not handling!) a heavy ceramic thing. My sweet little cousin left the store bawling in her father's arms because of this witch's reaction. If you don't want kids in your store, dont be a jerk about it and hover, be upfront about it and post a sign or something. Yeesh. Terrible experience, I'll never visit again. Everything is way overpriced, too. more

Swag is one of those shops where once you enter, you seem to think you need a lot of things that you didn’t previously realize you needed. And while the merchandise is artsy, fun, classy and quaint, the fact remains that there is not a single thing in the store that anyone needs. However, if you’re looking for house decorations and have a bit of money to spend – this is your shop. One of the finest in Northfield. more
