Stop Complaining 6/26/2011

I hate preppy suburbanites who say they don't like this place because it's in Camden. Stop being so full of yourself and GROW A PAIR. I can't stand People who claim to be from Philly, but they are really from one of the surrounding suburbs and are affraid of diversity because they belive everything the Media tells them. And they're far too used to their perfect little white worlds, and don't leave their comfort zones.People who are really from Philly don't care that it's in Camden. I really can't stand people who write bullshitt stories about being attacked or something in the parking lot, shut the hell up. Don't avoid this place just because it's in Camden. more

Pathetic Personnel, Putrid Parking, and Overpriced! 6/23/2009

Parking is overpriced, slow and never organized. The lot is dirty with glass everywhere and I never see any real security in the lots. The employees from the time your stripped searched at the gate are rude, and they harass you. If you question anything they do they will first threaten to remove you from the event then continue to invade your privacy. My last trip to SBC I sat inside thinking this would be better but no. My ticket was checked every step I took, literally. Within 5 steps there were 3 different checkers all holding up the movement of ticket holders by each checking the tickets over and over. This made a total of 7 times for me to reach my seat in the 100 area. The time before I had lawn seats and we covered ourselves with a tarp we were sitting on. The yellow shirted staff members made us remove the tarp said it was a security issue. What they truly were was jealous because they were wet. Most staff looks to be between 18 and 25 and pretty much drunk with the power given to them. I?ve complained directly to the staff to no avail. So I?d say SBC doesn?t give a care about its patrons. Pros: Music under the starts Cons: location, parking, staff more

Worst Grid Lock Ever 9/13/2008

Attempted to go to Rascal Flatts 9/12/08. Saw one officer providing traffic control between 676 & the venue. All he could do was direct traffic away from the venue in an attempt to get cars moving. Streets were in total grid lock. Did not arrive until 10:00 PM and the concert started at 8:00 PM. When we did get to the gate there were very few people waiting to get in?????. Turns out the theatre was packed including the grassy area with the roads still in grid lock with people attempting to get there. It appears that the concert over sold tickets to get the $$$$$. Many people never made it in and there is no refund on the tickets. This will be my last time heading over to Camden for a concert. Don't waste your time and hard earned money on a mismanaged venue and city that can't handle or doesn't care about bringing in revenue. more

Watch your back!!! 7/23/2007

First and last time at the Tweeter Center for the John Mayer concert. It was the worst experience of my life!! Not so much the concert itself...although the drinks are way over -priced and you can barely see anything from the lawn, but lets just say the city of Camden, NJ IS NOT A PRIME CONCERT VENUE FOR PEOPLE WHO VALUE THEIR LIVES!! FYI: the county prison is located across from the tweeter parking and apparently locals stand outside of it at night waiting to see their loved ones through the windows of the prison. My friends and I were walking back to our car when we were attacked by a group of these locals for no apparent reason!! I was left with multiple deep scratches across my face while another friend was bitten badly on her nipple. There were no police in sight until one of us got a way to get help . When she did reach a police officer he wouldn't leave his post and proceeded to call for patrol cars. Beware also of other shady parking lots near by, not worth the inevitable danger!! Just take the ferry if you'd like to avoid as minimal danger as possible...better yet don't got the TWEETER CENTER!!!!!!! Pros: Outside Cons: Camden, camden, camden, camden, camden...oh yeah and the county prison!! more

What's in a Name??? 6/10/2002

Been there a couple of times and found it enjoyable. Only objection is the outrageous prices for refreshment, but that is the norm at every venue. Not quite as comfortable as the Mann, and nowhere near as large a complex, has a GREAT view of the city from lawn seating, and good acoustics. more

typical concert venue 6/6/2002

the Tweeter Center (aka the e-center) is your typical outdoor concert venue. you have a reserved seat covered area and outdoor lawn seats. the view from the lawn sucks you buck up and get good seats. otherwise you'll have to watch it on the small tv viewing screens. the Tweeter draws the typical summer concerts, Kid Rock, Dave Matthews etc..isn't amazing how seemingly overnight a Tweet Center-type outdoor venue sprung up in every city in America? amazing. Cons: parking sucks more
