Probably the worst of available Japanese restaurants when it comes to service. Never an apology but always an excuse. This time, and it will be my last, they even got the order wrong. Good sushi, yes, but no better than elsewhere. more

Good food, even though some of the fish in the Chirashi tasted a little frozen.\r \r LOUSY SERVICE we really didn't want a table by the front door in the main isle. First we were told the booths in the back were only for larger than two people or only if we had a reservation. Which one was it? They took forever to take the order. Then we had to ask several times for our Tea which when finally arrived was so far across the table I couldn't reach it. Others who came in after us were served much quicker.\r Maybe we're just not Tragically Hip enough for them. more

The sushi here is very good and reasonably priced. We went here quite often because of these facts. Service is quite sub par, we went with a party of four, sat at the bar, and it took over an hour and a half, after people who had gotten there after us had been served, to get our food. No apology either. more

Sushi Yama rocks. Their rolls are huge and the other entrees are delicious too, especially the tempura. more

Food is great. Much better value the the overpriced "Jo" across the street. Ambiance is ok, but would be excellent if they would do away with the oriental music and replace with some more hip tunes. But, back to the food...it's great. more
