Good sushi for the price 8/24/2009

Sushi Train offers a good variety of rolls, apps., salads entrees and believe it or not....Korean food too! The rolls are mainly what's set out on the train aka - conveyer belt (like they do in Japan), most of it is pretty fresh. I'd recommend ordering nirgi off the menu, the salmon is super fresh and delicious. Each dish is served on a different colored plate, each representing a price range between $1.75 - 3.75. Good way to satisfy the craving without breaking the bank. \r \r The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with the menu items. I will most certainly be back! Pros: Price, location and variety more

So dissapointed 5/8/2009

Our first time to eat at the Sushi Train. We were surprised at the low prices except for when they wrote up the ticket, which was rushed off to the register before we could even look at it. A whooping $34.00 for two people for lunch. I a vegetarian so I ordered plain fried rice and took a 1.50 item from the train. My husband had one 1.50 and one 3.95 from the train and the special tuna roll for 5.95 and soup. We drank water. We walked out the door rubbing our heads. How did that come up to 34.00 dollars. The more we thought about it, we were shocked but it was too late to go back. Never again. My fried rice was made with frozen mixed vegitables. Never, Never again. more

Good Sushi, Good Service, Affordable Prices 9/12/2008

It may not be the fanciest sushi place in town, but Sushi Train is by far our favorite. The restaurant is quite spacious, with both booth seating and a sushi bar. Around the bar, rides the sushi on a train. The plates are priced by color--and priced quite reasonably. The menu selection is quite extensive, however you can generally find a standard selection on the train. \r For the freshest selection, it's best to eat-in during the lunch or dinner rush. \r The staff is very friendly and quite attentive to your needs. \r I would highly recommend Sushi Train for those wanting sushi on a regular basis--without having to spend a lot of money. more

BEST SUSHI PLACE IN TULSA 7/5/2007

At first when I saw the place from the outside, it isn't really your usual pleasant sushi restaurant. The outside is very plain, the interior is very basic except for the cool and interesting locomotive that travels around the sushi chefs carrying with them cargo's of fresh sushi on 4 different colored plates, each color representing a price for each dish ranging from $1.45 to $2.95. Once you taste these pretty looking morsels of food, you wonder why you even had second thoughts about entering this establishment. This is such a great sushi place and the prices are extremely reasonable. I usually spend about $10 on myself and I leave feeling like a stuffed pig. The train carrying the food usually has about 10 carriages, but, in the evenings and weekends they add more carriages, so much so, that the front engine almost touches the back as it almost wraps all the way around the train track around the sushi chefs kitchen. The most novel thing is you can sit around the train track at the sushi bar and watch the train carrying food ride past you. The transparent lids allows you to see what type of food it contains which is wonderful for the sushi beginners. If you do not see what you like, you can ask the chefs to make you anything and they will do that for you for no extra cost. I love this place, I have been coming here since it opened and I haven't stopped. Go!!! This is a unique experience for Tulsa. Don't miss out! I'll see you there, I'll be the one eyeing everything that goes past on the train carriages. Pros: Delicious, low price sushi on a moving train Cons: Plain decor more
