Best

I have been eating sushi fir more than 20 years, from places around the world...I am pleasantly suprised and pleased to report that the best sushi I have ever encountered is right...

Worst

This is easily the worst sushi I have ever had. There was no flavor to the sushi and the rice was rubbery on some sushi rolls and crunchy on others. Will never go back! Pros: ...

Traveled the world and have never found better sushi! 7/1/2009

I have been eating sushi fir more than 20 years, from places around the world...I am pleasantly suprised and pleased to report that the best sushi I have ever encountered is right here in little old Bonney Lake Washington. I have followed Trapper since the Muckleshoot Casino and continue to be impressed with the pride ge takes in the product he puts out...it shows in his innovative menu, in his happy staff(who he has obviously trained), and in the regular customers you see. I love going to Sushi Town and am excited when I get to bring new people in to try the amazing experience. I am very excited Trapper has opened his second location, Trapper's Sushi in Covington...I have already been there a dozen times. It has the same friendly feel, same great food, same amazing value, yet it has the look of a Bellevue Resturant...without the snob! Keep it up Trapper...you, your food, and your staff rocks!!!! We love you!!!! more

Most amazing Sushi I have ever had 5/26/2009

The chefs at Sushi Town are amaaaaazing. They are so funny and friendly, and oh yeah, make AMAZING sushi. I have eaten at a lot of sushi restaruants and this one definitely is the BOMB. Pros: Best Sushi Ever. Cheap. Fast. Awesome Chefs Cons: nothing, I absolutely love it more

The Worst Sushi I've Ever Had! 5/5/2009

This is easily the worst sushi I have ever had. There was no flavor to the sushi and the rice was rubbery on some sushi rolls and crunchy on others. Will never go back! Pros: Can't think of any... Cons: Don't know the basics of cooking sticky rice. more

sushi town OH SO Yummy! 4/1/2009

Sushi Town is a spectacular restaurant. They have an all you can eat lunch, for about $14... It surely is worth it. I also wanted to let you know Trapper is opening up another sushi place, Trapper's Sushi, in Covington. It should be open this week or next! Can't wait!! more

Great Sushi 1/21/2009

Sushi Town has great sushi. The rolls are better than anywhere in the seattle tacoma area. Most are not just plain. They have baked scallops or crab on top that puts them above the norm. The fish is so fresh and the portions are huge!! The waitresses are not that great but the food is so good I always overlook this. It is way too small inside and if you dont get there before 5:30pm on a weeknight you will wait forever for a table and there is no where to wait. You have to stand in front of the door. I wish they would find a bigger place or remodel the existing place. The food is so good that all this can be overlooked and I'm very picky on comfort and service normally. It is worth the drive to Bonney Lake for sure!! Pros: Amazing food. Cons: Bottom of the barrell waitresses more

I used to work for Trapper 3/16/2008

Trapper used to run a sushi restaurant in a local casino and I am glad he got his own place! Timmy and I also used to work together and I have been to Sushi Town since it opened and it is legions better than the little place in Auburn! Trapper has really been able to make some of his signature dishes and I know he brought a lot of his old customers with him to Bonney Lake. I have been to sushi in Minneapolis, Bozeman, Washington D.C. and Hawaii and I can tell you that I always compared it to Trapper's sushi at the place we used to work. Sushi town is at a whole new level and the secret is the rice! Sushi in other restaurants tend to have fancy names and interesting ideas, but always tend to fall flat because of the rice. Trust me as a former employee, Trapper has outdone himself with Sushi Town. I am moving back to Bellevue and plan to be a regular patron. Pros: Price, Value, Trapper and Timmy Cons: Far away from Seattle more

the best raw fish imaginable 12/12/2007

Best Sushi I've ever experienced! 9/26/2007

I travel all the time. So I can honestly say that SushiTown is the BEST sushi I have ever had! Menu Selection is superb, the specialty rolls are like nothing I have ever tasted before. Friendly staff, GREAT food. Recommend the following - the Trapper, the Mountain, the Trump, and be sure and try the eel. Yes, it's eel, and its unbelievably tasty. I would have never guessed it. more

WONDERFUL! youll be coming back 7/9/2007

i heard about sushi town through a friend, their main attraction is thier all you can eat lunch buffet. i thought i would give it a try, i was tired of driving to seattle for good sushi. All i could say was, ""WOW"" Not anything like other buffets. The value is unmatchable, and the freshness and quality is superb. They tend to be busy, but it is worth the wait. i have been back several times, the staff is very freindly and the menu selection is outstanding. I highly recommend the Mountain roll and the Uncle Steve roll, DELICIOUS! more

Amazing Off-the-Beaten-Path Sushi 1/1/2007

In it's small and unasuming strip-mall location it is by coincidence I wandered in to Sushi Town. I have been there dozens of times since then because of the amazingly fresh sushi and the unbeatable value (expecially at lunch). The sushi menu is diverse and always expanding and it is the kind of place where they know you and remember you after you've gone just a few times. In the past I have been very skeptical of ""all you can eat"" sushi places but the ""all you can eat"" lunch at Sushi Town is the best part and it promises they'll be busy at lunch everyday. I highly recommend the Timmy Roll as a unique creation and departure from traditional. The kids menu is accomodating and the staff is friendly to our kids. This is the kind of place where you find something you like and then start to crave it because it is so good! Sushi Town is worth a trip out of your way. Pros: ""All You Can Eat"" Lunch, Value Cons: Occasional wait at peak times more
