Good Cheap Sushi 5/2/2005

The sushi is good and the price is also good. You can tell the difference between the sushi here and at a more expensive place, but it's still worth going there especially when you consider the price. I do disagree with the previous reviewer who mentioned the propane torched salmon. I've never noticed any taste besides the sushi and there shouldn't be. While unsightly the torch is using the same propane any grill would use and that doesn't leave an ""chemical taste."" Service is usually pretty good when they're paying attention. You get what You pay for. The fish is fresh and delicious, the rolls are great and when you compare the price , well, we just keep coming back !! more

Easy, cheap and good 3/12/2004

It's fun to sit and watch the sushi go by. The staff is nice and the sushi is cheap and average. Don't get any browned salmon, they use a propane torch that leaves an icky chemical taste, but everything else I've had here is good enough. Pros: cheap, friendly, healthy food more

Marinepolis a sushi wonderland 11/27/2002

Marinepolis may not me the fanciest sushi bar in town nor the finest quality but it is well worth what you pay. To me the sushi taste wonderful and it is soooo affordable. Not only is it good cheap food but I think the atmosphere is rather enjoyable and the people are friendly. Its an added bonus to look at what you want before you pick it up off the belt. Although if you are looking for a private dinner for two this might not be you place because everyone is seated together around the convayor belt. Pros: good fresh food, good selection, excellent prices Cons: sometimes crowded, not private more

Not bad for quickie sushi 6/21/2002

for somewhat of ""fast food"" sushi place this place is pretty good.... and also price is right. I can eat $60 on sushi elsewhre...but I can get out of here with only about $25 bill. Pros: Variety of sushi, Value Cons: Busy/Wait more
