The restaurant's ambiance is that of family gathering except that you have to pay at the end. You are greated as a close friend and the staff is genuine and helpful especially for new-comers. Sushi Ko has got to be my favorite dinner spot in Miami. The service is great, You'll always get a friendly personal greeting for the owner, and the food is always fresh but fast. The sushi is one of the best I've had...even better than the more expensive places around town and on the beach, and I've tried plenty. They have a great lunch special, and even dinner is affordable (from a college students point of view).The ambience isn't really romantic, but its a great place for dinner with family or friends. THIER SPECIALTY ROLLS ARE AWESOME...I PERSONALLY RECOMEND THE SCREAMING ORGASM AND THE ROLL 69...THE ROLLS DEFINATLY LIVE UP TO THIER NAMES. more

If you want a variety of sushi rolls, this is your spot. It's a small place but you always feel welcome. They offer good service and everyone is gentle to you at all times. All their Sushi rolls are freshly made and taste awesome. Try their new special sushi rolls (the ones with the pervert names are good as well) and the fried-icream dessert, they are the best. more

I enjoy going there all the time and I go about every week. The owner is the sweetest guy ever and he wants you to enjoy being there by making you feel welcomed you. The waiters and waitresses are AWESOME!!! I recommend going to Sushi-Ko for the BEST service and the BEST food. more

Best Sushi Ever !!! 11/20/2002

This is the best Japanese food I ever had. They provide with countless, inspirational, and traditional Japanese dishes. There is fresh, live !!!! clam, lobster, as well sea urchin (uni) every so often. Also, many different types of fresh fish is available on a daily basis. Chefs are the best around town, very creative as well entertaining customers with their own styles (traditional) of cuisine arts. I definetely recommend Sushi Ko to all. Authentic! 8/15/2002

If you want authentic Japanese food and sushi, this is the place to go in the Miami neighborhood. Their sushi was the best compared with the well-known places in the Miami Beach area. Truly fantastic Japanese food such as ""kis"" tempura (type of fish, not kiss using your lips), etc. My wife from Kobe, Japan was very impressed. The owner happens to be from the same area, too.
