Sushi Island might sound like a romantic getaway where you could go with your significant other to enjoy a delicious tropical dinner in a room that resemembles a Hawaiian beach scene but please be alarmed, that is simply not the case! My jaw dropped the moment I walked in and not because the restaurant was the most beautiful that I've ever seen. I was more than shocked to see that there are master bedrooms that are bigger than that place! The lighting was dim which kind of got annoying after a while. It's not an upscale restaurant and it surely doesn't resemble a tropical paradise at all. The food is decent. The average sushi roll was about $4.50 and they had regular dishes and combination dinners which you could share with some one. Just think of this place as a cheap version of Islands Burgers except they serve sushi instead of the burgers! The place was packed when I went though so I guess it's still a favorite.
