This is good sushi for a good price. The pieces are really big and the prices are good. You can choose combo sushi plates where you select the different types of sushi you want...

This is good sushi for a good price. The pieces are really big and the prices are good. You can choose combo sushi plates where you select the different types of sushi you want, which is rare. The spicy scallop on salmon roll was excellent. Although I didn't try any of them, there are also a lot of ""cooked"" rolls for those who shy away from the raw stuff. But everything was really fresh and tasty so no reason to stick to the cooked stuff. Staff was friendly. Love it! 10/12/2007

My mother took me here as it's nearby her work. I was appalled by the prices and really thought there had to be a catch. But all food, sushi/tempura/udon, more was very very good! I use this place when catering for sushi regularly now, cliche but really, their prices can't be beat! more

I'm an out-of-towner from Phoenix. I read THESE reviews on citysearch and decided to try Sushi Express. \r \r The restaurant was very clean and simple, and the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. I ordered three 8-piece rolls and a beverage (beer). The bill was $20. - all three rolls were outstanding! \r \r Bravo! \r \r I can't wait to go back again....and probably will tomorrow! \r \r -E Vallee\r Phoenix, Arizona Pros: Good sushi! Cons: The area or location is ""ok""....but the food will make up for it. more

Excellent sushi, good price 12/27/2006

Perfect place for quick, quality and fresh lunch or dinner. The price is unbelievable for sushi and the chief is very knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend highly trying out this local gem. Pros: Quality, Price, Convenience more

My Secret Favorite Sushi Restaurant!! 9/30/2004

Sushi Express is my diamond in the rough. Rarely do you find such good quality food at such a reasonable price. I HIGHLY reccomend you try it. They make wonderful spicy tuna hand rolls, and I am yet to be dissatisfied with anything I order. Pros: Fairly Priced, Take out available, Good Parking more
