Reasons to come here: the pizzas, the drink names, the decor, the on-the-ball wait staff in their fun punk piratey get-ups.
Expect it to be busy when you get there. Also, you may have to drive around to find a parking space. Depending when you go, the meters just across the street at Family Dollar and near Skully's could be free. It's a little hard to pick out; look for the skull with horns and cross bones on the window. BUT, it is worth it.
Once you are seated, look back at the door you just walked through and take in the chandelier and the wall stenciling. This place is cowgirl/pirate heaven all wrapped up in a bordello. I know, just imagine it.
The jukebox is around toward the back, the Surly Temple is a good starter, the guac is great, and try the pizza with the cranberries or craisins that sounds like a salad. It might be called the Surly Girl...? They are just about to add more to their already intriguing menu, so if you haven't stopped in, now is a good time.
