Bought some tilapia from a local WI Pick "N Save and my wife thought when we opened it it smelled a little "fishy". Upon examining the outside bag (Supreme Seafood, Villa Park, IL) I found that it is a product of China. Really! I thought that there was a lot of tilapia "farmed" in the US. Am I mistaken? more

This is the retail storefront for a major seafood distributor. The staff here are very knowledgeable, and can advise you on how best to choose and prepare their wide variety of fresh and frozen fish. Their fresh fish varies by season, and is always of the highest quality. I make the trip to Villa Park about once per month to pick up some of their smoked salmon fillets (of which they have a few varieties). If you come here once, I suspect you'll find yourself coming back. more
