Superior Bait and Tackle

Worst Experience Ever! Had a Shimano Stella 30k spooled by Mark. It holds about 500 yard of 130 test hollow ace. So 400 yards in the spool runs out he told me don't worry we will splice it. They didn't have the proper needle to splice it, I was waiting there for about 45 min for them to attempt the splice. They got one side of the tag end in the hollow ace, after fighting with the other side he decide to cut it. The splice was only about 6 inches, should of been at least 2 feet. I told him it will slip he told me no it wont. Took it fishing my first fish I hooked up on it slips, so im out about a $100 dollars(shimano flat butterfly jig, owners assist hooks, seaguar floro leader, plus about 100 yards of hollow ace he try to splice. Took it back told him what happen, he told me he will take care of it. So when I came to pick it up the spool, it looked half-ass done. So I asked him what did he do, he told me he put backing on it then splice my old line on it. Well he didn't splice it, he tied a knot. Unbelievable!! more

I have been a customer for many years. Superior is the only place I will ever get my reels repaired. I get my gear for tuna fishing each year. I had a tournament one weekend and I had to leave before Mark got my Reel in. He sent it overnight to my camp! Mark has ordered things for me that I can't get anywhere else.
