We had a very similar experience to Clint F. We too had a Living Social deal with Super Surface, though purchased a year after Clint. We had three appointments set up, and each time, Super Surface didn't show up or cancelled. I expected we might have trouble with them when we initially called to set up an appointment, and their voicemail system was full and wouldn't accept a message from me.
I called them shortly after the window for my first appointment went by with no one showing up, and they returned my call a couple hours later and rescheduled us for a few weeks later. For that second appointment, they called us the day before and rescheduled again for also a few weeks later. For that third appointment attempt, no one showed up, nor did anyone return my call to explain what happened.
I will give the owner the benefit of the doubt and guess that he became overwhelmed with people taking advantage of his Living Social deal. However, that does not excuse the poor customer service. I would have had no problem if they needed to reschedule an appointment, provided that we were given adequate advance notice. As it is, I can't keep using my limited ability to work from home and then have them not show up. We ended up getting a refund from Living Social, since we never heard from Super Surface again.
