If you shop in Wood Dale, you need to constantly watch what you are charged for items on sale. I have shopped there since they opened and will no longer do so because not all items on sale ring up correctly.I have gone back 5 or 6 times to get my money back, and a few of the times, the cashier insisted that the item was not on sale, even though I showed her the sales paper. I have called the owner twice and even stopped going for 2 months, only to go today and get over-charged once again for an item that was clearly on sale. Buyer beware was never a better phrase if you shop at Frank's in Wood Dale! Sincerely, A new Caputo's customer more

WATCH OUT FOR OUTDATED FOOD 6/12/2009

On several occasions, I have found expired meat and other items on the shelves of this store. One time I approached some workers with this concern, and they ignored me. I walked away and decided to return to them, stating I was going to call the Board of Health. Hearing this, they promptly started to remove the expired items from the shelf. more

A great grocery store 9/22/2005

This grocery store has it all with low prices! They have a good selection of produce and meat as well as a good selection of lunch meats at the deli counter. In addition, they sell chester fried chicken and other items like italian sausage and egg rolls already cooked so it's easy to stop in one night and pick up dinner. You can also play the lottery or purchase instant lottery tickets at this store. They accomodate many ethnic groups and have large varieties of items. more
