good food, ok service 4/17/2010

The food is pretty good, but I've had better. Lots of seafood variaty. Setting is ok. Waiter forgot to bring a cup for tea after he was asked to. Crab legs were very good and the fried rice was very good. The cleaned shrimp had sand in it. Visit walla walla's china buffet, its awsome! more

Good: Good food. Bad: Change come attitude of your crew,I feel like insulted I hate that We're a regular customer We know what were doing but everytime they're asking that i should give them this amount of tip or asking the the customer to put tip on my card is kinda RUDE & INSULTING. Improvements: Dont ask the customer for tip ,Dont put the % of tip on the receipt ,Dont count the tip in front of customer. Other: Foods are goods nothing to say that just the crew that i dont like hope some changes soon. more

Decent Chinese Buffet 10/16/2009

My family has eaten here 3 times and it has been good food at a decent price. My money was well spent. The sushi is not great but most everything else was good and some very good. We will go back. more

Eminently practical Chinese buffet 1/4/2007

I have to confess several things: (1) I love Chinese food (2) Have a very hearty appetite (work out 6x a week at the gym) (3) Don't like cooking (4) Believe in good value, hard work, thrift, and so forth (5) Am a guy (6) Don't like to spend time looking at a menu and having to decide (7) Like to dress casually when I go out to eat So, this place is fine in my opinion. Granted, it may not be fine Chinese cuisine--difficult to find outside of China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong anyway--but holy cow! It's a great deal! And though it doesn't hold a candle to the really good Chinese buffets to be found in a small Midwestern university town, where I did my graduate work--as unlikely as that might appear to be--it is one of the VERY FEW Chinese buffets in the Seattle area, as well. No waiting around (unless it's a weekend evening and there's a crowd) or having to think about which dishes to order (and having to narrow the list down to two or three). If you don't like a particular dish, or if it has been sitting out on the warming plate longer than you'd prefer, get the dish next to it! Also, they're CONSTANTLY bring out steaming, piping hot dishes from the kitchen (at least when I've been there). The best Chinese food I've ever had in Seattle was at a small restaurant in the I.D. that is no more, the Top Gun. But the food here is still pretty good (and I'm Chinese-American to boot). There are very few Chinese buffets in Seattle (there were more in the small city where I went to graduate school in the Midwest), so at present, this is the best of the lot. There must be at least three long aisles with food on either side....that must be at least 50 different dishes PLUS a Japanese counter PLUS dessert(s) PLUS a cook-to-order stir-fry counter. If only this place were closer in (to Seattle, I mean), I would go here all the time... Caveat (as of 2-17-06) Don't go in the middle of the afternoon, as the number of freshly stir-fried dishes is much less, and the quality, as well. I got stomach flu a few hours after eating here, and though I'm not 100% sure it was from the restaurant, I'll have to admit the hygiene in the restrooms could be improved a lot. more

Ok food, cheap price 1/3/2007

Super China Buffet has big selection of food, including sushi and Mongolian grill. The price is cheap, around $7 for lunch (before 4pm) and around $11 for dinner (no drink included). But the food was not that great as some people said. Some of the dishes, like steaming fish was not refilled for quite a while when we were there. The sushi was soso and the fruits were canned but not fresh. It's Ok to eat there once a while, but it's not my favorite spot. more

Best Buffet In Seattle!! 6/12/2006

This is not the typical Chinese Buffet!!!! It serves Chinese food, fresh sushi, a mongolian grill with a wide selection of ingredients and they cook in front of you, full salad bar, fresh fruit, soft ice cream, fish, and seafood! ALL for about $10. - with kid's at $1. per year they are (I think)!! It's more expensive on the weekends and for dinner - difference of a few dollars. If we're very hungry, and all crave different things, we go here - in fact we'll drive in from Lynnwood - now that we've moved!! There can be times when you may have to wait for a table to open up (weekend evenings) because it's so popular (by word of mouth), so we avoid those times...there's no good place to wait. It's WONDERFUL with babies of kids 'cause the selection guarantees you can find food they eat plus get them to try a bunch of other stuff you're not sure they'll eat. Then, you don't have to mess up your kitchen with an item they won't touch - it's fun! The quality of food is HIGH for a buffet!!! They are constantly making more and bringing it in - I think that they must make it all then and there. The only thing I don't like is that they have waitresses that come and serve you drinks then expect a tip! Sometimes we don't and sometimes we do 'cause we feel bad for them...I'd rather serve my own drink, thanks. Oh, and drinks are extra, and not included in the price of the food. more

Yummy ~~~ China buffet 4/14/2006

I love 'China buffet', the restaurant. As the name suggests, they offer china buffet. I don't exactly know about the price, between $10 to $20 per person maybe, as for the several times I've been there, my friends paid the bill. The buffet there has a variety of Chinese food and they are absolutely delicious. In my opinion, it is a high quality buffet for the price. Due to its popularity, it is always full at dinner time and there is usually a long line waiting at the door. So go there early, if you want to try it out someday. more

Large selection and quantity, OK food 12/28/2005

I am not as impressed with the food quality at Super China Buffet as some other reviewers. They do have an amazing selection, but I would not call it outstanding food. It's OK, but it's been sitting around in a buffet for a while (i.e. not fresh out of the wok), cooked in quantity, and the vegetarian entrées are quite limited. It is all-you-can-eat, and reasonably priced. We have also never had any problem with having to wait for a table. You might have trouble on Friday and Saturday nights at 7 PM, but even then, you probably won't wait for more than a few minutes. more

Great buffet prices and awesome food selection 11/14/2005

This is probably the best Chinese buffet in the Seattle area. The price is great for the selections of food. It is extremely busy and always has a wait time, I would recommend calling for reservation prior of arriving to the restaurant. It also has a room in the back for private parties and be sure to negotiate on the price including drinks for each guest. more

Cheap Price, Many Choices 10/4/2005

This is probabaly the cheapest chinese buffet place around seattle. It is about $10.00 a person for dinner, maybe $1.00 more if it is on the weekend. But don't think that because the price it's cheap that that the food is bad because their array of food is amazing. They have over 30 hot entrees for you to choose from, and over 15 different kinds of dessert. There's also a salad bar too. There is also a sushi bar which is my favorite, and a mongolian grill spot where you can pick from different kinds of meats, seafood, veggie, and noodle and they will cook it for you on the spot. This place is just amazing for what the price is and the amount of food you get. The quality is quite good too. You should really go try. more
