An honest mechanic? sounds almost like an oxymoron, doesn't it? Well, I assure you that is definitely NOT the case for Super Auto Tech. HONESTY IS THEIR POILICY. Franky of Super Auto Tech is HONEST AND clearly a MASTER of his trade. I noticed both the reviews were for Mercedes cars and felt the need to write to say that Super Auto Tech is as friendly with the cars of mere mortals. We brought both our 1994 Camry as well as a Ford Escape to Franky with a little apprehension, because even though the other reviews mentioned their friendliness, we could not help recognizing that they probably worked a lot with high end cars. All our fears were totally unfounded, the whole experience was so pleasant, and Franky was extremely courteous, friendly, and super meticulous and thorough with his work. We got a call from Franky telling us about the parts that needed replacing and we were worried about the cost (we have been going to Firestone for the years, and based our expectations on our experience with them). We could not believe our ears when we got the price for parts and labor from Franky, it was so reasonable that we have to ask him to repeat it to twice. He showed us all the new parts put in, and even kept the old ones to show us the reason for replacing them. The workshop is very clean and equipment well maintained. Bottomline: SUPER AUTO TECH = HONEST, SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND SUPER FRIENDLY. Pros: Expert in their field, Reasonable Charges and Friendly Cons: None more

I've been having problems with my 98 Mercedes Benz SLK for a long time and have had my car looked at by so many mechanics throughout the San Gabriel Valley. I found Super Auto Tech on citysearch and decided to give it a shot. I was a bit skeptical at first because the shop was smaller than most shops, but when I met Frankie the technician I was blown away by his knowledge on repairing Mercedes Benz. I was even more pleasantly surprise when he was finally able to repair that horrible sound I hear in the morning along with all the electrical problems I had with the car. I was already a satisfied customer but when I thought it couldn't get better, I was totally shocked by the low price!! I asked why he charges so cheap for such a superb work, and he said he was going to retire but got bored and his sons opened the shop just for him to have something to do rather than make a lot of money. I don?t write reviews but I felt I owed a review to this place. It?s probably the best experience I?ve ever had with a mechanic shop. It?s a smaller shop but they seem to do everything here. Franky the mechanic is obviously a master at what he does. He keeps all his tools clean and his work area very presentable. Super organized. The son that works there, Young, was extremely professional and very helpful. But the real kicker about this shop is their incredible prices. I brought my C230 Mercedes to 4 different shops and nobody could tell me whats wrong. One mechanic shop down the street even wanted to charge me more so they can have an expert look at it?! I brought it to Franky and he was able to find out whats wrong within 30 min. I mean heck great customer service, honest mechanic that knows what he?s doing, and great prices . . .
