Sunshine Day Care Center

I was very disappointed in the staff that was there. My daughter thankfully had a great teacher but the others i was not so fond of. I feel that our children should be in a drug free setting and i am not convinced that is the case at sunshine. Hopefully the problem was resurrected but i still would not send my child there. The place is old and always had a foul smell. It was never clean. I had heard such good things about their program but my daughter was taught nothing and came home with bad habits. So beware if you are looking to put your child in Sunshine. more

My daughter found Sunshine after being in several home day cares and 2 centers. This was the place she was most comfortable and preferred to be at. While it may not be as new or clean as other places it has been around since I was a child. The staff there really adores the kids. They eat lunch there, do trips and learning activities. Each room had seperate things- a dress up, cooking etc... which was nice. They kept the parents well informed and updated on things with the center. Many of the staff had been there since my family was there years before. They use a code system to gain entrance to the building also so it is a secure environment. They do not children until 18 months - and they also have a waiting list to get on it early. more
