I wanted to impress family from out of town. We had reservations at seven and were promptly seated. It was busy, but we got a great table by the edge of the terrace. Looking over downtown Asheville and across the valley to the mountains was a fantastic view. The service was enjoyable, the wine list superb, but the steak was what I remember most. A NY Strip, thick juicy and done to perfection. We had the crab cake, the fresh fish from Hawaii and Lobster from Canada. We shared a bottle of Caymus and then a great chocolate torte. We watched the sky change color with sunset, listened to the band playing inside and enjoyed the breeze on the side of a mountain. If you're in Asheville, its worth the money to experience this dinner. Great food and service in a beautiful stone built hotel. Fantastic. B.
Pros: Great view, tender steak, fresh seafood
Cons: none
