California/Sunset Tan is by far the best tanning salon in the Lehigh Valley. The staff is wonderful, the beds amazing, cleanest salon I have ever been to. They also have a golden retriever named Cali that greets you at the door, she is the sweetest dog. When you walk in they make you feel at home. People are asking me where I tan and I am proud to say California/Sunset Tan. \r I will always tan at the salon! more

State of the Art Tanning Salon! I highly recommend this tanning salon. It's not like any tanning salon in the Valley. I am so impressed by the tanning beds, lotion lines and customer service I always receive at this salon. I came in just to see the salon and try it out because it came highly recommended by a friend. I became a VIP member and love it! The color I have from this salon is amazing, eveyone noticed right away. People ask me all the time how I got so dark and I say Sunset Tan, no other place like it. I did the Professional Teeth Whitening service they offer and my teeth are ""white"". My teeth shade changed by 11 shades. Now my smile is perfect! I can't say enough about this tanning salon. California Tan closed because of a business partner dispute that could not be reconciled. Once the partnership was dissolved in the court system the partner who gained sole ownership of the business decided to add the name Sunset Tan. California Tan/ Sunset Tan have been open for almost 5 years with a brief closing of 4 months (while the partnership was being dissolved). Unfortunately we cannot control others actions which caused the breakup of the business partnership suddenly. My advice don't ever have a business partner. California Tan and Sunset Tan are owned and operated by the same person. When Sunset Tan opened we honored ALL packages of California Tan. Here we grow again, Sunset Tan/ California Tan opened its second location October 2011. Our customer can use their packages at either location of 320 East Third Street or 29 West 4th Street, Bethlehem. The 2nd location of California Tan on 29 West 4th Street is a smaller location, the hours are different then the main location Sunset Tan at 320 East Third Street which has longer hours and more beds. There is nothing suspicious about California Tan or Sunset Tan. With sole ownership of the business is better than ever, we look forward to opening more locations in the future. What is suspicious is California Tan/ Sunset Tan never had any bad reviews (except ones about the business closing suddenly) until a competitor opened a salon down the street then all the sudden Sunset Tan started getting bad reviews. Oddly enough on the same day we were given bad reviews the competitor was given good reviews by the same person. Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt and come into Sunset Tan/California Tan and see for yourself you will be pleasantly surprised at how upscale, nice, clean and wonderful our salons really are! more

one star because im seriously confused!!!?!?!?!?!?California tan closes for 5 months last summer without any notice now it opens under sunset tan, now they open another location called California tan again with limited hours!!!!! Sounds suspicious to me!!! Beware of buying packages, you’ll never know when there going to close and open as something new!!!!!!! more

I was looking for a new tanning salon and I found it when I walked into Sunset Tan. I was so impressed by the salon it is beautiful. Not what you expect from a tanning salon. \r The employees were so kind and gave me a tour of their wonderful salon. I keep saying salon because it has a spa feeling not a typical tanning salon feeling. \r I was impressed by the bed selections and the many packages they offer. I am getting married so I wanted a salon that I could get alot of color in. I have been tanning at Sunset Tan for 2 months now and I decided to write a review because of the great customer service I always receive and the incredible tan I now have. I even had my whole wedding party start tanning with me. \r I look amazing in my wedding dress thanks to my beautiful tan!! \r They also offer professional teeth whitening and I got my teeth whitened so did my fiance. My teeth whitened by 11 shades my fiances by 13 shades. I am so happy I came to Sunset Tan. They helped me get ready for my wedding day which is next Saturday! \r Sunset Tan has found a loyal customer in me and my wedding party! We love tanning there. \r If you are searching for a place to tan you have found it! more
