We had a great experience with Sunset Mechanical. They provided us with several options, and helped us determine which option was best for us. They told us what to expect as far as a timeline for the job, and they performed as promised. They were extremely thorough, and took complete ownership for the job they were doing. In this case, they (Aaron and Justin) are the owners of the company, so I had complete confidence that the job was being done right. They took time to thoroughly explain the new system to us, and have since followed up numerous times to check on its performance. Because of the confidence we have in them, we have asked them to maintain our systems in the future. I definitely recommend this company!! more

I hired Green Horizon to change out my air conditioner, and to install a high efficiency hot water system, as well. I am a mechanical engineer, so I'm probably a bit more discerning about different products and methods than the average consumer. I was very impressed with Aaron's knowledge, and the overall quality of the work. Frankly, the system they installed is better than any residential work I've seen. They use methods that you usually see only in commercial work, and the result is a comfortable and efficient system for a very good price. I was very pleased with Green Horizon, and have nothing negative to list. I found them by blind luck, looking for an HVAC company that was close to my home. I'm certainly glad that I did. They more than deliver on what a user should be looking for. The quality versus the cost is worth well above what you pay in the end. They even helped me with the paperwork for my energy rebate. There was no doubt in my mind who would be doing that replacement. Sunset Mechanical. It took 3 days to do the replacement but it was well worth it. My electric bills have almost been cut in half. This was a very hot summer. My house is 1400 square feet. My highest electric bill was only $92.00. (my house is total electric)These guys are professional, efficient and thorough. The Bryant Evolution system is one of the best investments you can make in your home and Sunset Mechanical is the only company I would let service that system. more

I rely on Green Horizon for regular annual maintenance on my heating and AC equipment. Throughout the years, they've kept them functioning and when they do need to be replaced or repaired, they are there to do it. They always have great advice and offer good suggestions on products, various options and energy efficient costs and systems and so forth, it's all been really great. more

Sunset Mechanical Services is fantastic. I wouldn't consider using anyone else. Any time someone I know has a heating and air issue, I refer them to sunset. They are great guys. They do good work, and always clean up after themselves. They are also great about working around my work schedule. I've been using sunset since 2007, when they installed a new system for me. Our AC unit was on its last leg needing weekly injections of freon to keep us moderately comfortable so we began calling around for quotes. My husband located Sunset through the Internet. They came out to our house at the scheduled time. Aaron was our first contact person. He was personable and knowledgeable. He never asked for other quotes or bad mouthed other companies (as others did...we contacted 5 companies). Aaron took measurements in our home, in our crawl space, and went into our attic. We were pleased with the technology he had available to assist him in making a true assessment of our needs. He also took the time to explain all of the terminology associated with the purchase of a new system. He then took our information and created several options for us that met our comfort needs as well as our budget needs. We received the email proposals with all of the information about unit types, rebates, tax credits, and cost. Once we decided on the unit, an install date was set. The Sunset crew came out and installed our new unit as well as duct work in a professional, considerate manner. All employees were courteous and considerate of our privacy as well as our property. The work was done in a timely fashion. Before they left Aaron and Justin saw to it that we understood how all of the equipment operated. Aaron gave us a tutorial on our new thermostat. We were even pleased that they came back to take air flow and temperature readings to make sure things were working to our liking. We were contacted no less than five times after install to make sure things were to our liking. We HIGHLY recommend Sunset Mechanical for your AC and heating needs. They did much more than anyone else for a highly reasonable price. We know someone who charges $350 up front for the airflow tests and other computer readings completed for free by Sunset. We could not be happier with the service or the product provided to us from Sunset Mechanical. Aaron and Justin are running a topnotch business with excellent service. more
