Sunset Marquis Hotel and Villas Spa

When it comes to a pampering spa experience, the Sunset Marquis delivers, paraffin-wrapped hands down. With just a handful of spa suites (each with its own shower and restroom) and a manicure/pedicure room at the entrance, the space is decidedly simple and serene. But that doesn't mean the details have been forgotten. Not even close. For one, the treatment beds in each room were designed by the same folks who build those buttery leather seats for Porsche. (Yes, as in the sports car.) And rather than having a shared waiting room where you usually hang out before or in between treatments, you get to keep your suite and have the therapist come to you. As for the products used in the facials, this is the only place aside from NYC to carry organic skincare line Erbe. (Yes, the very same line used by the Vatican that's been owned by the same family since the 1700s.) Told you it was pampering.
