I has my Acura CL tinted there just last week and it turned out awesome! It has these factory dot matrix etched onto the rear window glass that I didn't think was possible to tint...

Worst

They're customer service is shitty from the receptionist up to the owner don't know how to talk to anyone on the phone or in person. I had bubbles all in my tint 2 days later and ...

I finally decided to get some tinting done, and I've heard horror stories about some of these shops - OVERPRICED, POOR QUALITY, NO WARRANTY, DAMAGE TO VEHICLE, ETC! - well I took the plunge and gave Neil a call. He was courteous on the phone, arranged to let me come over two days later, and put me at the top of the schedule for that day. Pros: Decent guy - easy to locate - AND IT LOOKS GREAT! Cons: The lot is really tight - you'll probably want to get there just on time as there's no parking more

Great job and a fun time 3/9/2008

Its always nice to have someone work on your car who is even more enthusiastic about it than you are. My original plan was to drop off my Forester, and walk across the street for some dinner while the work was being done. What happened is I ended up talking Subarus, motorcycles and track days with Neil (was it? I'm bad with remembering names) for the two hours he took to carefully apply my tint. From this conversation, I can tell he is a car nut, and takes great pride in the job he does on any car. He even stayed late to get me in during the week. (Please tell the wife I'm sorry about keeping you out late.) Pros: Knowlegeable installer, quality tint film, friendly customer service Cons: parking is tight - make an appointment so you can get right in more

got my car tinted today . Quick clean. not everyone wanted to tint my xlr cadillac because its a hard top vert. Pros: made those 2 hours fun Cons: only 2 hours of fun more

this is a third car that sunset did for me . the jobs still look great and price gets better with every extra car i take there . Pros: great multiple car discounts Cons: small parking area , hard to make a u turn but Neil helped me out more

Recently they have completed a mission impossible by tinting 18 gmc passenger vans in a very short period of time . The Best service + 10/17/2007

This is the second car I've taken and the job is top notch. Plus my man put the scripted emblem on my charger for free, he wouldn't even let me pay him. they also do stereo's and Spoilers. Pros: Exceelent service Friendly staff great price Cons: Needs a website more

Best Tint Shop in Philly 7/15/2007

Literally just got my 07' VW Jetta tinted up today. Yes thats right on a Sunday!! Called yesterday and he came in the next day to do my tints. I would have to agree with everyone else on this page saying that cars are his passion. Not only does he do tint he can fix your car up too with a great sound system or hook your car up for some speed. Has excellent tinting skills. He does his own cutting by hand which does not require the use of a machine to cut out the tint like other shops this makes for a quality tint job that will fit and look great the first time. I will def. recommend this place to others and will bring future cars here to get tinted. Pros: Clean looking job, no bubbles more

Worst Tint Job! 5/4/2007

I don't know if the other reviewers really exist because this place is the last place you want to take your preciuous car to, to get a tint. I don't know what I was thinking when I waited endlessly to get my car tinted here. First of all the workshop is the pits... its so messy you are bound to have dust particles caught up forever in your tint as bubbles. Secondly the guys who did the tint were so rude. They didn't bother to clean up after. Its almost a month and I still have bubbles. If you don't believe me... go get your car tinted here and then see for yourself! more

Best Auto Tinting in Philadelphia 4/11/2007

I took my Audi to Sunset and had tint removed and put back on. The owner is very nice and does a great job. It's in a great location, which includes a shopping center and places to get some food. The job is done with care for the car. Sunset Glass Tinting & Steroes is the best place in Philadelphia to get your windows tinted. Pros: Service, Parking more

Excellent Tint Job on my BMW 3/11/2007

Just had my windows tinted on a BMW 328is. Neil at Sunset Glass did a great job and I would return with future vehicles. Set aside 2-3 hours to get windows tinted and make an appointment in advance. Neil is very friendly and easy to work with. He's honest and doesn't try to oversell the work or results. I'm very satisfied. Worth the 45 minute drive to have him do it. Paid $180 for all windows on my 2 door coupe. more
