Love the margaritas, have had quite a few different ones on there menu.The food has been real good too, they have there own way of doing stuff ,like nachos and spinach artichoke dip.reminds me of a roadhouse down south but in the middle of comm ave. Disappointing 7/22/2004

We went there because we thought they would make a good margarita but unfortunately we were wrong. The drinks our server gave us were not the ones we ordered, and instead of remaking them, they just added other ingredients. Because they have different people taking the order, running the drinks, and running the food, it is hard to get issues corrected. Also, the food was mediocre. THIS PLACE HAS AN INCREDIBLE BEER AND TEQUILA SELECTION ! NOT JUST TYPICAL ONES IN MOST PLACES. FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD TOO. Bar scene a bust! 5/6/2004

We decided to go here to start off on Cinco de Mayo, and got off to a horrible start! The bartenders were all very slow, it wasn't even that crowded and yet it took us a while to get drinks. They all looked miserable, were busy doing nothing, and to top it off MADE THE WORST MARGARITA I HAVE EVER HAD! From a place that got voted 'best margarita' last year, they definitely don't hold up their reputation. And shouldn't cinco de Mayo be their best day/night??? Sunset at Sunset 8/6/2003

The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the patio adds to this wonderful new spot on Commonwealth Avenue. You'll find memorabilla, high ceilings, and a jukebox playing anything from Frank Sinatra to the GooGoo Dolls. The bar has some forty plus taps and a tequilla section that is too large to count. Unlike its sister restaurant in Allston, Cantina has a full liquor license and the frozen drink machine never stopped during our visit. Try the Texas Baby Back Ribs or the Mako Skewers. Both were excellent. Save room for the Meltdown Mudslide Pie, just in time for summer. Pros: Patio Dining, Large Groups, Beer Selecton more

clueless 6/30/2003

A group of four of us went for dinner and drinks. Three of the dinners were fairly good. The one steak tip dinner was over-cooked and tough. Service was absolutely terrible. Waitress seemed to have no training whatsoever. She broke every rule in the proper waitressing book. Despite being only half-full, wait for food was very long. steak tips , ribs,nachos,burgers,wings your not gonna find better. lots of interesting beers on tap .comfortable place for hanging out Pros: different beers, guava margaritas, easy location Cons: too many choices more
