Sunrise Tree and Landscape, Inc. came highly recommended by a local nursery to remove a tree in my backyard that had blown over as a result of a strong windstorm. So, my tenant called Mr. Falcone for an expert opinion on what to do with the tree. His company removed the tree for a nominal fee and left the tree stump to be removed at a later date for another nominal fee. The tree was removed within a couple of days, the stump removal and planting of another tree (if that is what I wanted to do) was going to have to wait two or three weeks to schedule. Mr. Falcone wanted me to purchase a landscaping maintenance package as well for a monthly fee which I declined, that would be my tenants responsibility the if he wanted it. In the same conversation, I had decided on what type of tree to plant but I would get back to him for final conformation whether or not to plant the tree. After consulting my wife, WE decided not to plant another tree. His crew showed up that weekend and removed the tree stump. My tenant called Mr. Falcone to ask when the crew would be back to finish the job...there were still exposed tree roots, landscaping electrical cord and barrier plastic, and a small plant still leaning at a 30 degree angle. Not to mention mud all over the block wall behind where the tree used to be. He told my tenant "the job is complete, I don't want anything to do with you, your landlord or that property from here on out. Tell your landlord to pay the bill and that will be the end of it" When I called him, his phone was not accepting calls from my number so I had to reach him from another number. When he refused to make the job right, I told him I would contact the triple B about his customer service. He said "go ahead, I'm not a member anyway. It's people like you that have no friends" and hung up on me. Once I recieved the bill, I was charged a fee for travel time that was never contracted. I don't reccommend Sunrise Tree & Landscape.
