Sunrise Baptist Church

After getting stationed here at Ft. Bliss my husband and I were looking for a good church. I was encouraged to go to Sunrise by my daughters Girl Scout leader but I was little nervous about a small church. From the moment we walked in those doors we were loved by all the members. A lot of the families that attend are military, so the support you find from the families is amazing! I've even gotten to know the daycare staff (who are absolutely amazing) and see firsthand how they love my kids like their own. This isn't just a church, it's a family you become a part of. Pastor David is such an amazing man and he always has time for you if you need someone to talk to or just need a little help understanding passages in the Bible. As much as I dislike El Paso I hope we stay here for a very long time just so we can still be a part of this amazing church! more

My family has been attending this church for almost a year now. We have really enjoyed it. Very friendly group. Good teaching, pastor is a Dallas Theological graduate. Our 4 and 3 year old love the children church and sunday school teachers. \r The church is small, mostly military.\r Located near Ft. Bliss.\r Lillie Hill Daycare very affordable, kids love it. Mine attend twice a week. Pros: Feels like family from day one more
