Sunny Brae Animal Clinic

I have been taking my animals to Sunnybrae Animal Clinic since the mid 1970's. At that time it was just Dr. Woody Svarvari. Meanwhile, 35 years later Dr. Woody is still there, thank God, and all my animals have been well served. I can't think of a more compassionate and professional vet than Dr. Svarvari and I know when he retires the whole town is going to be in mourning. But, after all these years of service he deserves his free time to do all the things he loves to do. Here's wishing all the best to all the staff at Sunnybrae Animal Clinic! more

I have had my dogs and cat taken care of by Dr. Jay Hight and Dr. "Woody" for several years. I had to "go through" 3 other vets prior to finding Dr. Hight. Last year I lost my dog (my soulmate) to fibroid sarcoma. The staff came to my car to administer the injections and I couldn't have asked for more kind and compassionate people. The 2 women stayed with me and my dog as well as gave me private time I needed to say goodbye to my beloved dog. I later received a stone from the clinic with his name carved into the surface - I have never received a more precious gift in my life. The office staff is also kind and is still working with me to pay his final bills. I highly recommend Sunny Brae Animal Clinic and wouldn't trust my "babies" to any other vet in the area. more

I took my 3 year old baby (dog) to Sunny Brae, they did blood work and i brought in a stool sample. They found nothing. He was anemic and lethargic. They didn't check for poison, only for a parasite. My baby is dead and they took my $214. They didn't help at all and now i have to live with that. They didn't even seem sympathetic. Because they THOUGHT he didn't have an obstruction, they did no x-ray. I am not going back to Sunny Brae. I feel that if i took him elsewhere, he would have lived. A person took a dog that wasn't even his to a vet in willow creek, and they saved that dog with very little money down and worked with payment. Now they love animals. Sunny Brae loves money. Not enough money, no service, no care. more

My family has been visiting Dr. Svarivari and Sunnybrae animal clinic with our pets for more than 40 years. Although I moved to the Bay Area more than 20 years ago, I take my dog to this clinic when I come up to visit my mom. The care is excellent and the office runs like a top! more

First of all, the care and expertise given to the animals is very commendable. I'm happy for this with my two newer two year old cats (siblings) because they're in good hands when they need to be. Before I got them, though, I owned another cat for 17 years and all of a sudden tragically lost her to bone cancer. This clinic was caring and compassionate to my family and I at that time. Their sympathy letters and a gift memorial stone with her name "Kitty" (her Brittish name) carved in it was so appreciated and helped with all the grief we went through. more

I won't take my dogs anywhere else in this county! I have lived as far south as Rio Dell and brought my pets to Sunny Brae Vet since the 70's. They are very affordable, make sure your animals are in good shape and give you advice over the phone! What more could you ask for?? more

I love the people at Sunny Brae, they make you feel really good about taking your animal in. There is no "hard sale" of other pet items, and this is a good thing. I'm glad to take my animals here.Now that they have added the special vacc rate for all of Saturday, they are even better! more
