We have now been several times to three very good Lebanese restaurants on 2nd street, Open Sesame, Magic Lamp, and Sunnin, however, Sunnin is by far the best of the three. In addition to the usual Lebanese restaurant fare of kebabs, hommos, falafel etc. , they have real home cooking, such as grape-leaves stuffed with meat, mallow stew, kibby tray-style, kibby in yogurt sauce, and many more. They also have by far the best tabbouleh, and since that is the national Lebanese dish, it puts them clearly above all the others. Last but not least, their fried cauliflower dish produces cauliflowers that are crispy on the outside and soft inside, and lots and lots of them, accompanied by taratoor, a sauce made with tahini, lemon juice and garlic. Two sisters run the restaurant: Dolly and Nicole. Kudos to both.
Pros: Best Cauliflowers of all Lebanese Restaurants
