If you're a beginner, this is a good place to start, I took my first lesson here. It's nicely located just off EL Camino Real on Wolfe Rd. It has a driving range so practice during your lunch break is possible. If you're a long hitter you won't like this course. It's greens are fair. It gets lots of play so conditioning and maintenance is a challenge . You'll either use a pull cart or carry your clubs, even if you play twice around for 18 holes. \r

But if you're a ""True Golfer"", you'll want to make the hour drive across HWY 17 to enjoy one of the Top 100 Course in the country; Pasatiempo. It's semi-private so go to their website for reservations and directions. world wide web dot pasatiempo dot com. It's a little pricey at $200, but it rivals Pebble and Spyglass which are much more expensive.
Pros: Great for beginners
Cons: Lots of beginners, and young kids on their ""first date"" play here
