Denise is AWESOME! I was married 10/02/10 and she did all the flowers for the day. this included my very large wedding party (10 guys and 10 girls) the church and the reception and most importatnly my flowers! I never knew that a wedding boquet could be as beautiful as mine! I told her I wanted feathers in it and she did just that. It was very classy and elegant! WOW. If you are looking for upscale gifts, gormet food, items for the home or a floral arrangement that shows class, appreciation and elegance than this is the place for you. My friends and family have been going to Denise for years and she never ceases to amaze us. Her shop is tastefully designed with beautiful gifts and both Denise and her staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. When you walk into the store they make you feel right at home. Her gift baskets are made to order and can be a theme basket or just a basket of beautiful things AND she delivers or ships to almost anywhere !!!!! Her floral arrangements are not your ordinary arrangements. Each time my husband has sent me an arrangement to the office I have gotten so many comments asking where the beautiful flowers came from I started giving Denise's business cards out and my co-workers used her as their florist the next time they ordered. Denise certainly has an artistic talent and truly loves what she does and it shows in her floral arrangements. The flowers are quality and last twice as long as any other flowers I have bought. She especially makes shopping easy for my husband to purchase gifts for me as he just goes to the shop and tells her what the occassion is and he leaves with a beautiful gift he is sure I will love. Talk about your STRESS FREE SHOPPING !!! She knows her clientelle well and the items she carries in the store show that talent. I don't usually write reviews, but after seeing what was posted, I had to. Sunflowers by Denise is a gem of a shop, you will love the unique gifts not to mention her creative floral designs. She is so courteous and eager to please. Always willing to help you find just the perfect gift or flower, and beautiful free gift wrapping. She even does open house the first weekend in December, and serves all her customers delicious appetizers and drinks while they shop. I do all my client gifts through her shop. We have various job fairs throughout the year and she will add my promo items to the gift basket and do a theme depending on the time of year. Just did a fabulous Halloween gift basket that was a huge success! She is also doing my client gift baskets for the holidays and went out of her way to work within my budget. You can't go wrong with Sunflowers by Denise, everyone I have referred has become a regular customer and has thanked me for the referral. Check her store out you won't be sorry! I would not recomment using this florist. We went here to get an arrangment for my granfather's memorial service. Not only was the owner, Denise, not friendly but she also provided us with an arrangement that was significantly over priced. My mother used to run a greenhouse - therfore she has a very good sense about what an arrangement should cost, based on the size, flowers / greens used, etc. My mother asked for an arrangment in the $200.00 range. Denise was well aware that the arrangement was for my grandfather's memorial service, yet she was still rude. That alone was concerning, but then when we saw the arrangement we were shocked. It was a nice arrangement, but certainly NOT worthy of the money that my mother spent on it. Overall, it was an awful experience and we were both greatly disturbed by it.
